The Criminal Justice department in JCC's Carnahan Center includes multiple spaces and tools for hands-on training:

    • Leica CS10, a cutting-edge survey tool that captures up to one million measurement points per second, bringing unmatched precision to crime scene investigations
    • Model town to learn effective command coordination in various scenarios, such as hazardous material responses to hostage situations
  • Fingerprint development room to learn standard and advanced fingerprint identification techniques, including powder dusting, lifting, and chemical methods like Ninhydrin processing and cyanoacrylate fuming
  • Fingerprint processing room to learn proper techniques for securing known prints using both traditional ink methods and modern LiveScan technology
  • Real jail cell used for immersive corrections training, where students practice cell extraction techniques and investigate crime scenes
